UltraGlas Textured Glass Shower Doors

15 November 2007

If mold and mildew are attacking your shower doors, you can spend hours scrubbing, pay someone to scrub for you, or… get new shower doors. I think the latter sounds best, don’t you?

Glass shower doors tend to be easy to clean, and they look a lot better than curtains. You can have them installed whether you have a shower enclosure or a tub (think sliding glass doors), and if you want a bit of a designer touch, consider textured glass. It looks unique, and it also gives you a little more privacy (in case children and spouses are known to wander in and out of the bathroom while you’re in the shower).

The textured glass shown here is called Ultra Glas, and it’s a style incorporated in many bathrooms done by Schicker Shower Doors in San Francisco. “UltraGas textures create natural diffusion, which provides privacy without restricting light transmission. For a truly unique look, incorporate UltraGlas panels into your bathroom design. This kiln-formed glass is decorative and functional.”
