Heated Patios and Driveways Are in This Winter
Whether you’re talking about the latest snow thrower or a fancy snow auger, it all comes down to the same thing: you, outside in the cold, dealing with snow removal so you don’t slip on your butt when you walk out of the house.
What if there were an easier way? What if you could just flip a switch and–poof–snow melted away?
Well, that’s where heated patios and heated driveways come in. Just as you can get radiant floor heating in your home, you can install snow melting systems outside.
When you turn them on, the concrete, brick, asphalt, etc. is heated from below, which in turn melts the snow. Okay, it’s probably not a “poof” kind of thing, but over time that snow will melt right off your driveway, walkway, and patio. Sounds a lot better than doing it yourself.
