Room or area heating can be more energy efficient than heating the whole home with central air, especially if you are just hanging out in one part of the house. Of course, if you don’t have a thermostat in every room, it’s hard to specify just one duct to turn on, so you need some sort of heater. You wouldn’t want anything big and clunky, right? Not when there are modern alternatives…
