If you’re into green remodeling, and it’s time to tackle the bathroom, you may be trying to decide what kind of cabinets to install. Sure you could go with wood, but why not use another natural material that replenishes itself quickly?

Yes, I’m talking about bamboo. This fast growing grass (yes, bamboo really is a grass) grows to maturity in just a few years, so it’s a great “green” building material.

Bamboo cabinets can have many different looks, anything from sleek and modern, to tropical and island-inspired. Pair your bamboo drawers and cabinets with recycled glass countertops or other green materials, and you’ll have a luxury bathroom that’s also eco-friendly.
