Africa-inspired Congo Bathroom Sink and Countertop from Kohler

Lindsay ~ 11 November 2007

If it’s bathroom remodeling time in your house, part of your task will be to pick out a snazzy sink and vanity or perhaps a sink and pedestal combination. You can go with something conservative, but perhaps you’d rather walk on the wild side.

For an example of the bathroom “wild side” products out there, check out this sink and countertop from Kohler:

“…named for a densely forested part of Africa, Congo’s vitreous countertop is covered in dense foliage, cast with shadows of an impending twilight. Its lavatory is stratified with grey and black bands, while delicate floral impressions cascade over the entire design. Let this subtle color palette surprise you with its complex design, similar to an Escher masterpiece.”

With this zebra-colored countertop, there’s no need to worry about your neighbor having the exact same sink as you any more (just in case that concern was keeping you up nights).

One of the best use of creativity and engineering I have seen to date. This is the type of out of the box thinking that needs to be more main stream. Truely a beautiful product. Can’t wait to get in on my home.
