Deck Screws with Colored Heads Blend into Your Wood
20 October 2007
Deck screws are an important building element, but who wants a deck with little stainless steel screw heads shining up from each board? If your deck were made of stainless steel, that might make sense, but most people are building with wood or composites that look like wood. Doesn’t it make sense to have screws (or at least screw heads) that blend right in?
That’s what the folks over at Headcote figured. They’ve put out a line of stainless steel deck screws with colored heads. The wide variety of shades (from white to brown to black to olive to buckskin and more) means you should be able to find something to match the stain of your deck.
Now there’s no need to put up with those bright metal screws popping out to the eye.
