Toro Electric Leaf Blower Sucks, Blows, and Shreds

1 September 2007

Yes, summer is coming to a close, but that doesn’t mean yard work is over. Soon the leaves will be falling from the trees and threatening to bury your driveway and walkways.

If you need to pick up a new leaf vacuum or blower for the season, here’s a model that is rated highly over at Amazon:

The Toro electric leaf blower and vacuum comes with a shredder that reduces 16 bags of leaves to 1 pile, so you’ll have no problem fitting all the leaves on the lawn into your yard waste bin. “With a Tecumseh LV 195 engine, this handheld blower delivers up to 235 mph of air flow and is the only electric blower/vacuum to offer a rugged metal impeller and an infinite variable speed motor. Compact and well-balanced, this blower/vacuum is comfortable to use and easy to maneuver. It requires no tools to change from blowing mode to vacuum mode.”

It looks like a pretty versatile tool. You can pick one up for just under $100:

I think the reclaimed wood cabinets are very beautiful. I love that they have nail holes, scratches and dings, it definitely shows more character. Green remodeling is definitely the way to go nowadays. So many ideas, so little time! For some more great ideas on home decorating you should definitely check out Design Star on HGTV. The designers are so creative and I love to see what they can come up with. You can check out the show at: http://www.hgtv.com/designstar. There are only 2 finalists left and for this last challenge they will be heading to Hawaii! It airs Sunday, Sept. 9th @ 9pm, don’t miss it! Also, don’t forget to vote for your favorite designer after the show to determine who gets their own show on HGTV. I work w/them so just wanted to give u the inside scoop! Who are you going to vote for?
