Frost-proof Italian Terra Cotta Pots
Lindsay ~ 6 September 2007
Did you know that not all terra cotta is created the same? Apparently, some of the best stuff comes straight from Italy. The pot shown here was handmade in Italy’s Tuscan region. It’s frost proof and available in the U.S. through Tuscan Imports.
They have more terra cotta pots and planters than you can imagine, as well as fountains and statuary. The items come from the Impruneta and Siena areas, which are apparently among the best for crafting terra cotta. The prices aren’t online at the company’s website though, so you’ll have to order a catalog if you want to know how much the real deal will cost ya.
