Trash Racks Let You Mount Garbage Inside Cabinet

Lindsay ~ 18 July 2007

Most people like to hide the trash can out of sight, especially in the kitchen. If you have pets, it’s doubly important to put it some place they can’t get into it. Putting the trash under the sink is a popular choice, but it’s not always possible to get a decent sized can to fit under there, especially if you have a garbage disposal. The TrashRac is an alternative.

“Keep trash out of sight with our clever TrashRac, which is mounted to the inside of a cabinet, a door, or on the wall. It’s also an ideal way to collect recyclables. A handy lid conceals the contents. Hooks on each side of the frame allow you to attach a grocery bag or TrashRac Plastic Bags.”

It’s $15 for a 3-gallon TrashRac and $20 for a 5-gallon one at the Container Store.

That’s awesome! If only I had a back yard big enough. :)
