Drill Your Own Well to Fight Watering Restrictions

Lindsay ~ 21 July 2007

If you are constantly questing for the perfect lawn, one that’s lush and green and vibrant, what are you to do in the hot months of summer when watering restrictions are imposed? No, you don’t want to break the law and risk fines by rogue watering… But you can install a well on your property. If you pull the water out of the ground beneath your property, nobody can tell you when and how to use it.

There are companies that can survey your yard and see if you’d be able to take advantage of a well, and they can do the drilling for you. This is a pretty hefty home improvement project, but if you have a large plot of land that you want to keep green, it might be something to consider.
