Cute Compost Cottage Hides Your Pile in Plain Sight

There are a lot of good reasons to compost, but there are a lot of good reasons to want to hide that unsightly compost pile from view too. If you don’t have any secret nooks in your backyard (or you have pets that are constantly nosing through the pile), then this cute cottage may be a solution.

The “Compost Cottage” is made from weather-resistant white cedar with a plywood roof and cedar shingles. That roof is hinged, and you can pop it open for easy loading. The cottage has a 106-gallon capacity and comes with side and back ventilation to ensure air circulation.
