Whether you’re making tuna fish sandwiches or making a batch of Granny’s Famous Bean Salad, you’ll likely be dealing with a can. Cans come filled with water to help preserve the food, and necessarily you need to drain that water unless you want a mushy meal. Most of us perform this task using the recently cut lid of the can (the sharp, jagged recently cut lid…). Here’s a better way: the can colander.
