Magnetic “Smart Pad” Holds Cell Phones, Pens, etc

Lindsay ~ 15 May 2007

Just about everybody has refrigerator magnets (if only the business card type with the pizza delivery place’s phone number on it), but how many of them are actually useful? Aside from letting you keep the pizza number close at hand, not many. Here’s an exception:

The Smart Pad lets you stick things to it, and if the cell phone in the picture is any indication, it can hold items with some weight to them. The pad grips the surface (no adhesive required) of places like dashboards, computer monitors, refrigerators, etc. and provides a secure place to hold your keys, sunglasses, iPod and other odds and ends.

The price is $10 at the Container Store.

not magnetic. And Smart Pad is a trademark, doesn’t need quotes.
