Here’s a storage idea I haven’t seen before for the kitchen (or for any other room in the house for that matter).

The Küchenbaum (German for “kitchen tree”) has lots of adjustable shelves, hooks, and turntables that can hold all the cooking paraphernalia that is overflowing your cabinets and drawers. Of course, you’ll have to have a free corner for the 196 cm tall tree to live in, but if you’ve got the space, you’ll get a lot of vertical storage for your buck (er, baum).
