Haier Convertible Bottom Drawer Refrigerator
One of the main complaints people have with side-by-side refrigerator/freezers is there isn’t enough room in the fresh food side for unthawing Thanksgiving turkeys and other larger-than-average items. Some manufacturers beat this by adding an extra pull-out drawer at the bottom of the fridge, and Haier is going a step further by making that space convertible.
The deep bottom drawer can work for fresh food or frozen food storage, by converting from a refrigerator to a freezer and back. This gives you space for everything from party-sized deli trays to unthawing turkeys to cakes for birthday parties.
The 24.6 cubic foot fridge comes with other perks as well: crushed ice and water dispenser, adjustable shelves and door bins, glide-out interior shelves, and a fold-away wine bracket. Expect to pay around $2,000 for this stylish unit.
