Designer Dishwasher Panels Add Art to the Kitchen
A lot of folks like the cool clean lines of stainless steel appliances, but if you prefer more warmth in the kitchen, you could go the opposite direction. Dishwasher Creations wants to turn your least favorite appliance (who really likes doing dishes?) into a piece of art. Or at least they want to stick a piece of art on the front of it.
The company sells vinyl panels with reproductions of artwork on them. The panels attach to your dishwasher door with mild adhesive or magnetic backing, and they can later be removed without doing any damage. They are supposed to be easy to clean as well: “Simply wipe your vinyl kitchen art panel with a mild detergent, and you’re done.” And, unlike with stainless steel, there’s no need to worry about fingerprints.
There are several pictures to chose from, and the panels themselves cost $99.
