Classy Slate Outdoor Thermometer

4 April 2007

If you’re the kind of person who wants to know how warm or cold it is before stepping outside, here’s a thermometer you can hang on the side of your house or somewhere you can see it through a window. Made from New York slate, this temperature measurer is more elegant than most, and you can get a matching outdoor clock to hang next to it. The sandblasted 1 1/2″ tall numbers are clean and deep, so you can see them from across the yard–unlike with those traditional thermometers with little red lines that climb up and down a tiny scale.

The slate thermometer is $55 at GRDN.
