Tripod Flashlight Is Handy Around the House

14 March 2007

A flashlight is a necessity, not only for power outages and other emergencies, but for any work you might have to do around the house in dark areas. The problem with most flashlights is you need someone else to hold them, since you often need both hands for the project you’re tackling. This Stanley tripod flashlight can stand up by itself though.

The tripod supports the flashlight, so you don’t need a helper to hold onto it for you, and there’s also an articulating head so you can direct the beam wherever you’re working. A 4-position switch gives you low, medium, high, and off settings. It’s supposed to have a lifetime of 200 hours on 9 AA batteries. The flashlight costs just under $30 over at Amazon (there’s also a keychain-sized version you can get).
