Peel-and-Stick Metal Wall Tiles for Easy DIY Backsplash

Lindsay ~ 20 February 2007

If you’ve been thinking of adding a kitchen backsplash as one of your home improvement projects but the idea of grouting all weekend makes you groan, these peel-and-stick tiles might catch your interest. The metal tiles come with self-stick tabs, so you can apply them in seconds. They butt up against each other without grout-filled cracks that can attract dirt and grease.

The fireproof tiles measure 4-1/4” square and can be cut with scissors, so you don’t have to worry about smashing full tiles into spaces that won’t fit when you get to the cabinets or countertop. Unlike with ceramic tiles, you don’t have to worry about metal chipping, cracking, or staining. A set of 48 tiles runs $27 at Improvements.
