A new fireplace mantel is a great way to change the look of your living room without spending a fortune. If you’re willing to spend more, you can get custom carved wood that’s created to your specifications. Price estimates don’t take installation into consideration, but if you’re a DIY type, this is one you can take yourself with a handful of tools. There are plenty of styles and designs out there to browse from (and lots of pictures online), so use the Internet to find a few one you love before deciding on anything.
