Hansgrohe Downpour Air Rainmaker Adds Fizzy Bubbles to Your Shower

Lindsay ~ 26 December 2006

You’ve heard of jetted bathtubs, of course, but now you can also get showers that have the bubble option. The Hansgrohe Downpour Air Rainmaker is a shower system with air bubbles added to the water. This is supposed to massage your skin with a “unique and invigorating shower sensation.” (Gone are the days when showers were just supposed to get you clean.)

The oval-shaped Rainmaker showerhead is 24 inches in diameter with 350 spray channels, so you should be able to immerse your entire body in the water (no more deciding which side you want warm and which side has to hang out). There are 5 different settings: Rain Air (12 inches of air-infused water), Rain Air XXL (24 inches), Whirl Air (air-infused water plus 3 whirl-massage jets), Mixed Combination (12 inches), and Mixed Combination (24 inches). No matter which setting you choose, I’m sure it’ll be a lot more interesting than your typical shower experience (and it might even get you clean too).
