Here’s a bed idea for those of you with small bedrooms. Just because you live in a smaller home doesn’t mean you don’t accumulate plenty of stuff you need to store, right? So this bed was built with the idea of creating extra storage without taking up a lot of space in the bedroom.

This particular bed is made from oak and comes from River Valley Creations, a company that does custom furniture. The nightstands and book cases are built into the bed frame, so they take up less room than if you had them as separate pieces. The bed has two drawers under the mattress/box spring platform as well as a “secret hiding place” for valuables–just in case you’re worried about burglars coming to visit.
