Ice Scraper? No, Snow Broom

Lindsay ~ 1 November 2006

An ice scraper is great for de-icing your windshield (okay, most of them aren’t that great…), but they’re less efficient for getting massive snow falls off the top and sides of your car. This can be a particular pain if you’ve got a tall vehicle such as a truck or SUV. So, what’s the answer? A dedicated snow removal tool such as this snow broom (excuse me, Sno Brum) should do the job.

The tool comes with a collapsible handle, so you can stretch it out to reach, and shove the snow off, the tops of high vehicles, and when you’re done, you can shrink it down so it tucks into the back of the car. According to the product description, it’s also lightweight enough that it won’t damage the antenna as heavy brooms might. The price for the Sno Brum is $25 over at Amazon.com:
