Wall Unit for Plasma/LCD Televisions

Lindsay ~ 14 October 2006

With more and more homeowners buying plasma and LCD televisions these days, it shouldn’t come as any surprise that there are a lot more wall units out there specifically designed to hold these flat panel TVs. You can still mount them on the wall if that’s your preference, but using an entertainment center gives you more flexibility in arranging and rearranging the room. (It’s hard to move a plasma TV once you’ve drilled into the wall to mount it and hidden the cords back between the studs.) This wall unit from Broyhill Furniture’s Hampton collection is just one example of a piece specifically designed for a flat television. It also has room for stereo, game systems, DVD-players, etc. Make sure when you shop for a unit that you look for something that’s big enough for all your existing electronics as well as any upgrades you might make in the future.
