Smart Storage for Electrical Cords

Lindsay ~ 19 October 2006

In most garages, electrical cord storage consists of a nail hammered into a stud and the cord hanging from it in loops. I suppose that works, but if you want something a little more high-tech, you could take a look at this Wonder Winder from SmartHome. It winds the electrical cord up for you and stores it neatly in the little basket that hangs below. When you have to use the cord again, you just grab the end and pull out as much as you need. The system comes with two twist-lock mounting plates that you can mount indoors or outdoors, as long as it’s near a power outlet. The price is $30.
