I have this litter box and there is not sharp edges at all. It was worth every penny that I paid for it, no one has any idea that it is a litter box unless I tell them. Its also very easy to clean.

I still like the idea of the box and appreciate the comment about sharp edges. It looks like you can find trim or even duct tape around the edges.....I plan to turn the opening to the wall anyway. Thanks for the warning...

Wow... wow... what kind of idiot posts such a stupid response? Haven't you heard of health & safety, James? If the box has such razor-sharp edges, it should be removed from the market and Berta was QUITE RIGHT in complaining to the manufacturer... you're not a relation of his by any chance are you, James? Thank you, Berta, I was almost on the point of buying one of these trays. If a responsible adult can cut themselves on this product, so could a small child - to say nothing of the cat! Now that Berta has pointed out the danger, looking at the sales photo, I can see that the edges DO look sharp... all gimmick, no research, no attention to safety for human or feline... and overpriced as it's poor quality goods. Bin it AND the manufacturer who has now definitely lost another sale... I won't be going out to buy one.

I would like to give you some feedback about this product. I bought the Tuscany model. The opening has razor sharp edges and it gave me superficial cuts and abrasions on my forearms. I brought this problem to the attention of the company's owner, who was completely unresponsive and unconcerned about this safety issue. He actually wrote me an insulting e-mail as a response to my e-mail informing him of what had happened.

The company's customer service is non-existing.

You might want to look at the product more carefully.
