Solar-powered Driveway Markers
5 September 2006
Yup, if that pizza boy drives up on your flower beds one more time, you’re going to have to yank his doofy little cap off and stuff it down his throat. Ahem. Or you could just get some of these solar-powered driveway markers that light up the boundaries of your driveway at night. Available from Hammacher Schlemmer, the 4-unit set is made from a tough aluminum alloy that’s supposed to be “virtually indestructible.” After the sun has gone down, they’ll stay lit for eight hours, even if it wasn’t a particularly bright day–the company promises the solar panels can collect energy even during 60% cloud cover. The price for the driveway markers is $89.95.
