Home Audio Systems Go High Tech
Are you still listening to music on your ancient audio system? The one that’s just a radio tuner, a CD player, and some speakers? Or maybe you’re even still using a tape deck or (gasp) a record player. Well, today there are many, many more options available in home audio systems, which incorporate all the offerings modern technology has to offer. You can still get the basics (a radio, CD player, etc.) but spending more for high end audio equipment gets you your favorite tunes in any room of the house (you can even set up a system in the shower), remote controls that work from anywhere in your home, and Internet-integrated systems that bring movies, music, and games from the Web straight to your home theater. Don’t think all of this is limited to your house either. Far-reaching wireless systems can bring the tunes to your outdoor living area, letting you enjoy your favorite music from the backyard swimming pool or perpaps a rooftop deck. Almost anything you can think of is possible today (if you have the funds to finance it), so maybe it’s time to give your old audio system the boot.
