Harp Chair

If unique furnishings are your passion (or you’re just looking for something to replace the living room hand-me-downs from mom and dad), you might like this “Harp” chair. Designed by Jorgen Hovelskov, it is manufactured by Christensen & Jensen and on sale at Clearly First. The curved shapes of the legs are crafted to be reminiscent of Viking boats, and the tightened ropes give the chair its sculptural quality. You’ll have to inquire at the company’s web site to get information on price and shipping, but I’m guessing it’s a little more expensive than your standard Ikea furniture.
