Comfortable Dining Room Chairs
26 September 2006
Have you ever noticed that most people’s dining room chairs aren’t that comfortable? This is especially true of the hard wooden ones. Something I learned recently is that it’s not necessarily the wood that makes the chair uncomfortable… it’s the seat, or at least that might be the culprit. The seat of a dining room chair should tilt upward a bit just before the knee, so you don’t have the feeling that you could easily slip out. A flat chair just isn’t contoured correctly for our bodies.
That said, this Magnum chair from the Batinau Design Group looks pretty comfortable. The dining room chair is available with arms or without, and its contours are designed to support your posterior and make long family dinners more comfortable.
