Granite Flooring in the Kitchen
Lindsay ~ 16 August 2006
Granite is still popular on kitchen countertops, but more and more, it’s making an appearance on the floor too. The tiles sound a little slick for a kitchen to me (Kool-aid puddled granite sounds like a painful slip waiting to happen), but if you’re one of those people for whom a kitchen is for display purposes only, then it might make a classy choice. The cost of granite flooring tiles will vary depending on where you buy, but I found them for as low as $3 per 12″ x 12″ tile with $5-6 being more common. That, of course, doesn’t factor in installation costs.
