Outdoor furniture covers aren’t the most exciting thing to write about (or shop for), but they are practical. The fact that I recently spent a half hour scrubbing mildew off our patio table reminds me of this fact. If you throw a furniture cover over your chairs, tables, and barbecue grill at the end of the summer, you’ll save yourself a lot of work in the spring. The plain Jane cover in the picture is from Target. I was looking for some more decorative styles, but unless you count army camo and prison-bar black-and-white stripes, I didn’t find anything. At least these covers are cheap–most start at under $20.
