It seems Kohler is always adding new products to fancy up your bathroom, and now they’re delving into that blank canvas: the toilet seat and lid. If you’re tired of having a Plain Jane toilet, you’ll want to check out Kohler’s designer toilet seat collection. The offerings are crafted to “allow homeowners to bring a touch of artistry and personalized styling to an unexpected place in their bath and powder rooms.” They have flowers, stripes, and this one–the Haiku, which has a relaxing eastern feel (well, eastern look anyway; I doubt it “feels” any different to your backside).

This medicine cabinet/shelf unit from Lacava seems like a good idea for the bathroom. There are shelves on either side, and the mirror slides in and out to reveal more storage behind it. I suppose most medicine cabinets have mirrors with storage behind them, but the sliding aspect is a little different with this one. Of course, you’ll pay for that innovation. The price is $1,606 (light fixture not included). For your money, you can choose from stylish Italian cherry or a teak-like Iroko finish. The medicine cabinet measures 35.5″ wide, 6.75″ tall, and 6.75″ deep.
