Tired of looking at the same colors in the bathroom every day when you shower? Then check out Moving Color’s heat-sensing, color-changing tiles. Their Northern Lights line (pictured here) appears black at room temperature, and then moves through the color spectrum when heat is applied. This can be warm water, radiant heat, or even touch (no doubt the kids will get a kick out of planting a hand on the tiles and watching them change color). Installation is the same as with normal tile. The company also sells “watercolor” and “tye dye” tiles, both made with vibrant colors, a little different from your standard bathroom wall decor.
