It’s been 50 years since Charles and Ray Eames introduced their well-known mid-century lounge chair and ottoman. To celebrate, the Eames Foundation is offering a limited-edition rosewood version in 2006. The chair and ottoman are produced by Herman Miller and upholstered in Edelman kid leather. Half of the $6,500 price tag goes to the foundation and is tax deductible. It includes a one-year membership, an Eames print, and two tickets to a guided interior tour of the Eames House in Pacific Palisades, California.
