Lighted Bird Bath
Lindsay ~ 21 April 2006
Ok, I know nobody needs a luminescent birdbath (birds sleep when it’s dark–I’m pretty sure they don’t sneak down to the yard for a midnight wing washing), but come on… it’s fun, isn’t it? This lighted bird bath has a low-voltage 35 Watt halogen bulb that illuminates the frosted glass bowl, “creating an orb of soft white light.” By day, it works as a normal bird bath. It comes with a 10-foot power cord, transformer, and “easy instructions” to help you get it running. The lighted bird sanctuary is available from the Gardeners’ Supply Store for $225: Luminescent Birdbath
