Bathroom looking a little ho hum? A bit dark and drab? Well, with a glowing green bathtub, no one will ever accuse your bathroom of being drab again (they may accuse it–and you–of other things, but that’s their problem now isn’t it?). The LTT Lit Bathtub is the work of designers Jan Puylaert and Alexis Oskam, and it’s available from Generate, a company that sells all sorts of funky modern lighting. The free-standing, polyethylene bathtub can come with an internal multicolored, programmable LED light unit or with a regular light fitting. You can get the tub without the lights, too, but where’s the fun in that? At $1,500, this bathtub isn’t as extravagantly priced as some luxury models I’ve seen (but then it doesn’t look to have any jets–just the LEDs), so if you’re looking to remodel and add a little light to the bathroom… well, here you go.
