Your DNA as Living Room Art

You like your art to reflect you, right? Your tastes, your style, your… DNA. You can’t get any more involved in the art you display than by being the building blocks for its creation. DNA 11 creates a portraits out of your DNA. They send you a little kit so they can get a sample (via a swab done to the inside of your cheek), then they send it to their lab to create a genetic fingerprint, using a technique that highlights the variations that occur in the DNA sequence of every individual. A special camera captures the image, which artists then enhance with color. The end result is a unique piece of art you can hang anywhere in your home. Prices start at $390 for a 18″ x 24″ portrait.
