End Table from Recycled Chopsticks

Lindsay ~ 9 December 2005

The company that makes this end table is called Kwytza Kraft (kwytza being the Chinese word for chopsticks), and they make all manner of things from floor lamps to baskets to CD holders from old chopsticks taken (and cleaned, thank you) from Chinese restaurants. This end lamp is hand-made from roughly 300 recycled bamboo chopsticks. A glass top offers a stable surface for your knick knacks. The addition of a light bulb below allows it to double as a lamp–the company says the light makes cool effects on the walls as it glows through all the slats.
