Here’s a product that was featured on HGTV the other night. Put out by GroundScape Technologies, this rubber mulch is made from recycled tires. The bright color is supposed to make your flowers stand out and, unlike with wood mulch, the rubber is guaranteed to keep its color fastness for 10 years. The rubber mulch is non-allergenic and resists mold and mildew growth. The company also sells a version of the material for playground use that comes in a number of vibrant colors like green, blue, and red.
