Bathroom Fan, Heater, and Light in One

There is a wide variety of bathroom ventilation fans on the market. If you don’t like noise, you’ll want to avoid fans with a high “sone” output. 1 sone is about equivalent to the sound of a quiet refrigerator running in a quiet room. Cheaps fans can be as many as 4 sones, whereas quieter ones, like nearly silent models from Broan or Panasonic can run at 1/3rd a sone. Bathroom fans can do more than vent. Many include lights, and the model QTX110HL from Broan incorporates a quiet fan with a light and a heater for those chilly mornings. The MSRP for the heater fan is $413.
